Back again this year, bigger and better, K-FLiP Radio 100point1 on your flippin’ FM dial! K-FLiP 100.1FM will broadcast to the entire Burning FlipSide community from Wednesday night until Sunday morning! For the second year, the wonderful, odd folks at Oddones Camp are providing a full service radio station blanketing the airwaves at 40watts at 40 feet, from a broadcast tower made from bamboo!  Flippin' the sound rules off, KFLiP radio will be the only camp making music on the plateau--the trick being we use neighbor friendly radio waves to get the sound out to all of Flipside!

DJs! Show us what ya’ got! We suggest you bring your MP3s loaded on to a IPod or the like. Mikes and headphones ready to go. Just plug in and shout out!  Reserve a slot at: http://oddones.pbwiki.com/DJ-Programming or just show up; there's plenty for everyone.

Live Music, Spoken Word/Poetry, Subdued Excitement!  Look for the bamboo radio tower and come hang out in the radio lounge, featuring comfy couches, dance floor/exhibition area and the opportunity to broadcast your individual performance.  Unplugged musical performers are encouraged to bring your instrument and participate.  Reserve a slot at: http://oddones.pbwiki.com/DJ-Programming or just show up; there's plenty for everyone. 

Silent Dance Party! Imagine a crowded dance floor full of gyrating bodies grooving to…what? Hey! There’s no sound! Wait! Everyone’s wearing headphones or earbuds and is listening to the music over the air! Put on your dancing shoes and bring your FM capable iPod or Walkman! A limited number of FREE mini-FM radios will be made available for this unique event! Saturday night starting about 11pm. 

At the top of every hour there will be Community Announcements. If you have a message to share with the entire community, write it down and turn it in! Or drop by and read it over the air yourself! There will also be an event calendar to let you know of many of the activities that are coming up that day/night. 

When packing, please bring a radio; bring an extra radio! Radios will be placed around camp at congregation points, greeters’ station, port-a-johns, bars, camps, Ranger Station, etc. We encourage your camp to have an FM radio tuned to 100.1FM for music, information, and all sorts of flippin' fun!
